Türmljoch

This was a trip to the valley surrounded by mountains reaching above 3400 m, with wild glaciers and steep rocks. Although we didn't see the peaks because of the clouds, and we only hiked through a gap 2772 m high, we admired the astonishing panoramas and the extraordinary environment we were walking through.

A groundhog(?) trying to hide between the rocks.

A herd of sheep at the altitude of almost 2700 m, with a glacier in the background.

In Polish: oset alpejski. Do you know the English term for this flower?

A close-up of a groundhog(?).

The valley we were walking down was astonishing: green, uneven, with vivid colors and a noisy stream hidden among the rocks. The black-and-white mountains with glaciers above reminded us of the fact that we were in the Alps.
