To take a break from using our muscles, we asked the car to take us as high as she can. The trip was quite interesting and somewhat expensive (the road fee alone was 26 euro).

Grossglockner (2798 m) - the highest peak of Austria,
and the famous glacier Pasterze.

The road was built in a picturesque scenery. Some parts of the road
goes through tunnels or "half-tunnels", that is, are covered with a roof
and open to one side, as you can see in the photo.

This is a view from the Hochtor gap (2576 m) towards Edelweissspitze (2572 m)
which can also be "climbed" by car.

This is the road we went. Just amazing!

You can see how steep and narrow was the road we drove.
